Mamadou Sakho 'feels scared' as Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson admits defender is not confident enough to play: 'He's unwilling to take the risk, we're trying to encourage him'

Roy Hodgson admits Mamadou Sakho is struggling with a fear factor after the centre-back's return to Crystal Palace's relegation battle was put on hold.
Sakho was sidelined for two months but returned as a substitute against Newcastle earlier this month, raising hopes he was ready to play a full part in the Eagles' survival bid.
But the former Liverpool defender pulled out of the trip to Everton last time out and will again be missing when Tottenham visit Selhurst Park on Sunday because of his lingering concern that the problem has not yet cleared up.
