Longer rides planned on Rushcliffe Country Park miniature railway
 

Model railway buffs are planning to expand a family tourist attraction in Rushcliffe Country Park – the miniature railway which provides fun rides for children and their parents.
Rushcliffe Borough Council has announced that it will be leasing out the 6,900 square metres to enable the railway to be developed by Nottingham Society of Model and Experimental Engineers.
The miniature line is one of the attractions at Great Central Railway Nottingham, the heritage line based at the country park adjoining the village of Ruddington.
