Lib Dems in General Election pact with Women’s Equality Party
 

The Women’s Equality Party (WEP) will only field three candidates in the constituencies of male MPs accused of misconduct – after agreeing a pact with the Liberal Democrats.
The party had been set to put forward as many as five abuse survivors to draw attention to high-profile misconduct allegations against MPs, but are now ‘very hopeful’ none of them will be re-elected. Three of the men deny any wrongdoing.
