A killer who stabbed a Merseyside student to death was walking the streets even though he had repeatedly breached bail conditions.
Police had called for Lee Arnold to be kept in custody after he was accused of further offences while already on bail for theft.
Yet magistrates instead released him under stricter bail conditions - just weeks before he brutally murdered Will Lound.
The 38-year-old even failed to abide by those new terms - but an “administrative error” meant they were not recorded by Greater Manchester Police.
