Key Salisbury site reopens to public 11 weeks after nerve agent attack
 

The city at the centre of the recent nerve agent attack is ready to reopen for business as it begins its gradual recovery from the incident.
Wiltshire Council confirmed the thoroughfare in Salisbury will open from 8am this morning, almost 11 weeks after the poisoning of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter thrust the city into the centre of a global diplomatic crisis.
After an ‘extensive clean up’, Defra announced it had handed back the area from Government control on Monday.
