Jo Cox’s sister hopes new parliament can bring a ‘sense of coming together’
 

The sister of murdered Labour MP Jo Cox hopes the new Parliament ‘brings us an opportunity to move forward from one of the most toxic and turbulent periods in our political history’.
Kim Leadbeater spoke on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme in the wake of the most divisive General Election in decades, which had Brexit at its heart.
Ms Leadbeater is the ambassador of the foundation set up in her sister’s memory following her death during the European Referendum in 2016.
