Jeremy Corbyn plans onshore wind farms to help create 400,000 green jobs

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn will set out plans to create 400,000 “green” jobs in his speech to the Labour conference in Liverpool.
But his plans may be controversial in rural areas as they involve doubling energy generation from onshore wind farms.
These have proved unpopular in some of the communities where they already exist, and the current Conservative government halted the expansion of onshore wind in 2017.
