David Luiz has criticised Manchester United’s approach against Chelsea in Saturday’s 2-2 draw and says Jose Mourinho’s side did not try to play football.
The west Londoners took the lead at Stamford Bridge but United rallied in the second half, only for Ross Barkley to score a last-gasp equaliser that prompted ugly scenes in the dugout when Chelsea coach Marco Ianni celebrated in front of Mourinho.
Chelsea enjoyed 62% possession and had three times as many shots as their opponents, who Luiz felt had turned up only looking to get a draw.
