Is it illegal to drive with snow on your car?
Currently there is no law that says it is illegal to drive your car covered in snow.
In certain circumstances this could be completely impractical and impossible to remove every tiny bit of snow from your car before setting off.
What it does say in the Highway Code, however, is that a driver must, by law, be able to see out of every glass panel in the vehicle.
Under section 229 of the Highway Code it outlines how drivers should prepare their car before they set off after adverse weather conditions.
