'I did not live, I endured' - Ex-partner and her lover forced man to live in their shed without a toilet or heating



A Leicestershire man who was forced to live in a shed has waived his right to anonymity to encourage other potential victims of modern-day slavery to come forward.
Chris Chapman, 59, spent more than a year at the bottom of his ex-partner's garden in an outhouse, without a toilet, plumbing or heating and living on cold baked beans and rice pudding.
The electricity to the shed was controlled remotely and he was only allowed out of the shed twice a week.
