Hundreds join ‘yellow vest-inspired’ anti-austerity march in London
 

Hundreds of protesters have joined a ‘yellow vest-inspired’ anti-austerity march through central London this afternoon.
The demonstration is organised by The People’s Assembly Against Austerity, which is calling for a general election.
This comes as organiser James Goddard was arrested outside St James’s Park Tube station this morning on suspicion of public order offences committed in the Westminster area on Monday.
People taking part met outside the BBC’s Broadcasting House before marching towards Trafalgar Square.
