Historic Hull firm William Jackson Food Group to expand with new £40m bakery

Hull-based William Jackson Food Group is investing £40m in a second bakery to support the growth of its main bakery in Derringham Street.
The Hull family baking firm is expanding nationally, building the new bakery in Corby, Northamptonshire to satisfy growing demand for Jacksons bread.
Currently two million loaves are made in at the Derringham Street site in west Hull every week for sandwich manufacturing and food service customers.
The new state-of-the-art bakery is being designed specifically to make bread for sandwich manufacturers.
