Heartbroken family tell how flu struck down father and son before killing one of them

A grieving family have revealed for the first time how flu killed their 20-year-old son – as his dad who also had the virus battled for life near him.
They spoke out as part of a drive to urge those eligible for the flu jab to have it.
Macauley Bratherton passed away in February.
His sister Michaela said: “Macauley was a young, fit and healthy 20-year-old who liked nothing better than to spend time with his friends and family.
