Heartbroken community raise £16,000 for family of Coventry 'hit-and-run' crash brothers

A heartbroken community has rallied to raise an astonishing £16,000 for the family of two young boys killed in a tragic alleged hit and run in Coventry.
Corey and Casper Platt-May - aged six and two - died following a collision on Macdonald Road at around 2pm on Thursday.
In less than 48 hours, more than £16,000 has been raised for the family of the brothers.
The page, set up by Lauren Dooley, originally had a target of £2,000.
By lunchtime on Saturday afternoon, more than £15,000 had been raised, and the total kept going up, reports the Coventry Telegraph.
