Hallmark pulled adverts showing lesbian kiss after compliant from conservative group
 

A TV channel has reversed its decision to withdraw an advert showing a lesbian couple kissing at the altar.
The advert for Zola was withdrawn following a complaint from One Million Moms – a conservative group.
The Hallmark Channel said they pulled the advert because the controversy was creating a distraction.
But then CEO Mike Perry said that was ‘the wrong decision’ after #BoycottHallmark started trending on Twitter.
The campaign to reinstate the adverts also received the backing of celebrities including Ellen DeGeneres, William Shatner and Sandra Bernhard.
