JONNY WILKINSON was last night put on stand-by to return to the England starting line-up against Scotland. Wilkinson was told to remain with the squad at their camp in Oxford rather than fly back to France to play for Toulon because of concerns over the fitness of Toby Flood.
Leicester fly-half Flood limped off against France with a sore Achilles. And while manager Martin Johnson is hopeful that Flood will recover for the Calcutta Cup match a week on Sunday, he is reluctant to take risks.
