Fourth Coventry City takeover bid rejected, claims consortium insider



A fourth bid for Coventry City worth £7million up front has been rejected, it has been claimed.
A source close to the Gary Hoffman-led consortium, who does not want to be named but the Telegraph understands has been involved from the beginning, claims a formal offer has been put to Sisu boss Joy Seppala – an improvement of £5m on the previous bid – which, he says, would rise to in excess of £20m subject to various add-ons.
News of the latest bid comes on the tenth anniversary of Sisu taking over the Sky Blues.
The club and Sisu have been approached for comment.
