Four kids killed as train smashes into bicycle at level crossing in the Netherlands

Four kids were killed and two people injured when a train smashed into a ‘cargo’ bicycle carrying the children to school in the Netherlands.
The accident occurred at a level crossing in the eastern city of Oss, near the German border.
The two injured people have been taken to a nearby hospital, where they are in a critical condition.
Police said the cargo bike – widely used by Dutch parents on the school run – was electrically powered.
Officers said the bicycle was transporting the children from a pre-school centre to school when the train hit them.
