Researchers have developed an ultra-precise camera that could revolutionize security systems.
The new array can capture details as small as a fingerprint from a meter away – and, it doesn’t require the use of a costly long lens.
According to the creators, the system combines lasers with techniques that tap into holography, microscopy, and even ‘Matrix-style bullet time,’ to construct micron-resolution images.
