Firefighters deal with moytorway lorry fire on M6 near Sandbach

Firefighters have dealt with a large vehicle fire on the motorway this morning.
Fire engines from Sandbach and Holmes Chapel were called to the scene at 7.33am this morning after reports the trailer's breaks had caught fire near Junction 17 of the M6 in Sandbach.
Crews from Cheshire Fire and Rescue used a hose reel jet to cool the brakes on the vehicle.
A spokeswoman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters were called to a large vehicle fire in Sandbach on the M6, Junction 17 near to a service station.
