Farm's answer to plastic pollution is attracting 100 visitors a day



A farm is doing its bit to tackle plastic pollution as it has started to sell its milk in a novel way - out of a vending machine.
Vine Farm in Great Dalby, near Melton Mowbray, set up its machine two weeks ago and is already attracting more than 100 customers a day to the farm, selling up to 170 litres of milk a day.
James Mann, 35, who owns the farm with his family, said: "We saw the idea on TV originally and we always knew we wanted to do some dairy processing on the farm, and thought this was a great way to sell the milk we produce.
