Energy switcher looks for funds
 

Chief executive and founder Jane Lucy said that the firm, which automatically switches users to the cheapest tariff, is raising the money by selling shares to investors using the crowdfunding platform Crowdcube.
Investors have so far committed nearly £400,000 of shares and the fundraising is scheduled to close in early March.
Lucy said: “Energy effects everyone, but only 20 per cent regularly switch provider. What people want is an automatic service that they can trust.
“The last thing people want to do is look at their energy bills and usage.”
