With more than 20 million vehicles expected on UK roads over the festive period, major delays are being forecast after new analysis.
Drivers planning to brave the motorways on December 20, 21 or 22 could be in for long waits as they do battle with the festive traffic to make their way home.
These dates are expected to be the busiest days to travel, as a surge of drivers get an early start on the Christmas getaway, traffic information company Inrix told the Birmingham Mail .
