Driver spat 'white powder' in policeman's face after hiding drug bag in his mouth
 

A police officer was stung in his face when a tree surgeon spat a powdered drug at him which ended up in his mouth and an eye.
Callum Simons, 27, panicked when he was challenged about his car insurance by two officers on the A153 near Horncastle and bit into a bag of white powder that he had in his mouth.
The contents ended up in PC Daniel Green's face, causing a stinging sensation.
Jim Clare, prosecuting at Lincoln Magistrates' Court, said: "It appears there was an issue over whether or not Mr Simons' van was insured.
