Drinkers flock to Stratford Beer Festival
 

Ale, football and sunshine, Stratford Beer festival had it all earlier this month, pulling in around 1,000 visitors.
The festival, organised by the Shakespeare CAMRA Branch, took place on 6th and 7th July, featuring live music on Saturday and offering a range of different foods.
Altogether drinkers downed 3,800 pints or 53-and-a-half firkins in brewers’ speak.
Organiser, Andy Clough, said: ““It was really good fun, everybody enjoyed the festival and around 1,000 turned up. The rooms at the racecourse are perfect for us, they’ve got air conditioning, which is good for the beer.
