'Don't punish the children': Hull parents' backlash over schools 100 per cent attendance treats

The majority of parents in Hull have blasted schools for "punishing children" for being poorly.
Hull Live told how a mum was furious after her daughter, Macy, was excluded from a school's celebrations for good attendance because she had two weeks off for an operation.
It meant Macy, 9, watched her classmates at Thanet Primary School enjoy a bouncy castle and ice lollies while she had to remain in the classroom.
