Desperate India and Pakistan residents FLEE homes as fears of World War Three intensify
 

Exchanges of fire in the Uri sector between the Asian nations has hit a 15 year high with fears that relative peace in the region could be over.
Nasir Ahmad Naqash, deputy commissioner of northern Baramulla district, said: “More than 1,000 villagers have fled their homes due to the shelling.
“Many people have been provided shelter in the campus by the government while others have gone to live with their relatives.”
Officials say that more than 15 people, including civilians, have been killed in the Uri sector as well as houses being damaged.
