Delays over third Menai Strait crossing 'mind-boggling'
 

Delays over proposals for a third crossing over the Menai Strait have been called "mind boggling" – a decade after a taxpayer-funded consultation first suggested it.
Plans to ease traffic congestion on the Menai and Britannia Bridges have been talked about for years by politicians as frustrated motorists sit in jams going to and from Anglesey.
Even yesterday an oil spill near the Britannia Bridge caused gridlock.
But none of the ideas have ever materialised, despite a new bridge being one of eight solutions on the table since a Welsh Government consultation way back in 2007.
