Cyclist killed in Edinburgh after collision with lorry named as Stuart Elliot
 

A cyclist who died following a crash with a lorry in Edinburgh has been named as Stuart Elliot.
The 40-year-old passed away after a collision on Sir Harry Lauder Road, at the junction with Portobello High Street, at around 10.05am on Wednesday, March 13.
The PhD student, who lived in Edinburgh, was pronounced dead at the scene by the ambulance service.
His family said he would be greatly missed.
In a statement released through Police Scotland, they said: "Stuart was a PhD Student at Edinburgh University studying innovative approaches to violence prevention in humanitarian settings.
