Could Liverpool city centre look like this again after huge eyesore is torn down?
 

Old images of the area around the Churchill flyover could give an impression of how the area around them could look once they’re demolished.
The images, taken when the Queensway tunnel was built and during the 1950s, show the massive space around the entrance to the tunnel as well as pedestrians moving freely around the area.
Now campaigners hope that the demolition of the flyovers could bring about a transformation for the area around them.
