'Concern' pay review leaves staff worse off



AN MP has written to the boss of Leicestershire's biggest private employer, saying she was "extremely concerned" that "at least 300" employees in her constituency will be worse off under a new pay structure.
Liz Kendall, MP for Leicester West, said she was concerned staff at Samworth Brothers would be losing out, despite the introduction of the national living wage.
Staff at the food manufacturer, which has nine sites and 6,500 staff in Leicestershire, received a letter from management in January informing them of cuts to "premium and overtime payments".
