Co-op worker filmed pushing boy who punched him ‘used reasonable force’
 

A supermarket worker filmed shoving a little boy into shelves acted with reasonable force, police have said.
Footage emerged of the unidentified Co-op worker shoving the youngster so hard he was propelled backwards and onto the floor.
However, police today said that the worker was the victim of an assault by the child and had been punched in the stomach before the push.
The man declined to press charges against the boy, 9, and his parents were spoken to.
The clip was filmed at a Co-op store in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, on August 7 last year but only emerged this week when it went viral.
