Climbing lampposts, diving in canals and mass singing and dancing

Fans climbed lampposts and sang and danced in the street as England crashed out of the World Cup against Croatia.
Even though the game ended in a 2-1 defeat in extra time, people out in Birmingham's golden mile were initially exuberant.
As the game ended in defeat reactions to start were just stunned.
But then a large group gathered in Broad Street singing, chanting, waving flags and dancing.
Some people dived into nearby canals - and others climbed up lampposts.
