CITY DIARY: UBS sells City HQ to Victor Li, son of mega-wealthy property tycoon Sir Li Kash-ing



UBS has sold its 13-storey City headquarters for £1billion to Victor Li, son of mega-wealthy – and aptly named – property tycoon Sir Li Kash-ing. 
In 1996, molelike Li, 89, was forced to pay a £100million ransom after Victor, 53, was taken captive by gangsters. 
His kidnapper, local king pin 'Big Spender' Cheung Tze-keung, later had the gall to ring Li for advice on how he should invest the loot.
