Chasetown FC progressed in the FA Trophy with a welcome win over Lincoln United in the FA Trophy.
The Scholars took the initiative in a lacklustre first half as Jon Beaumont tested keeper Michael Emery with a first time effort which was the closest either side had come. The hosts almost broke the deadlock in the final minute of the first half as a George Cater effort struck the base of the post.
