Capital gin maker in good spirits with new distillery



0 Have your say Edinburgh Gin has set up a second distillery, in Leith, noting the area’s historical role relating to the drink and saying the move comes “in response to the international spirit revival”.
The firm, owned by Spencerfield Spirit Company, added that it has signed new distribution deals in Europe, Scandinavia and North America for its core range.
The new facility occupies a former biscuit factory, supplementing its distillery in Rutland Place, and will produce it main products including newly-added Seaside Gin, launched in time for summer.
