Cabin crew set to keep up walkouts through August



BRITISH AIRWAYS cabin crew are warning bosses that strike action over pay will continue throughout August if they refuse to negotiate.
The crew, who are members of the Unite union and are paid an average of £16,000 a year, say BA has reneged on pledges over pay by blocking bonuses and withdrawing concessionary travel rights.
The company has responded to strike action by victimising strikers and spending millions of pounds on hiring aircraft from Qatar Airlines, complete with scab air crews.
Unite says the Qatari flights breach European safety rules.
