Burglar left note to apologise after he took cash from Christian charity

A burglar left a note to say he was sorry after he helped himself to cash at an independent Christian charity.
Graham Few, 41, had been a resident at The Canaan Trust, in Main Street, Long Eaton, which provides supported accommodation to homeless men.
Nottingham Crown Court heard on Thursday (December 14) how Few was distressed and said he wanted to kill himself before the burglary.
He took £76.60 from a petty cash tin on August 16, then left the note behind and went missing.
Staff called police because they were worried about where he was.
