BT refuse to move 25ft pole that appeared overnight outside mum's home



The mum who said she couldn't sleep because of a 25ft pole erected outside her home has been told by a telecoms company it's there to stay permanently.
Openreach has told New Brighton resident Sally Griffiths the telegraph pole that recently installed overnight is part of the firm's work to make ultrafast broadband "widely available" in the area.
Last week, Ms Griffiths, 56, who has lived at her Wirral home on Field Road for almost 30 years, said she was considering moving because of it - and that it was "so tall I feel threatened by it".
