Broadacre Primary School in Hull could be rebuilt to cater for 'baby boom'

A HULL primary school could be knocked down and rebuilt to combat the growing lack of school places after an apparent "baby boom".
Broadacre Primary School, in Wawne Road, along with Kingswood Parks Primary and Griffin Primary School, will share £800,000 for improvement works in a bid to create 455 additional school places in the Bransholme and Kingswood area.
Now, council officers have suggested that Broadacre School, which currently has 280 pupils, could be knocked down and rebuilt in an effort to increase its intake to 630 places.
