British sailor stranded 2,000 miles out to sea after being knocked out
 

A rescue operation is underway to save a British yachtswoman who is stranded thousands of miles from land after being knocked unconscious.
Susie Goodall was taking part in the arduous Golden Globe Race – a single-handed non-stop race around the world – when her yacht capsized and she lost her mast in a storm.
She is currently floating around 2,000 miles west of Cape Horn near the southern tip of South America but has regained consciousness.
Susie, 29, has made contact via Twitter and even joked how she is now in need of a good ‘cuppa tea.’
