Britain set for giant daddy long legs invasion as insects sweep homes



Brummies are all a-flutter over an invasion of daddy long-legs.
Their lanky limbs make them easy to spot as they fly towards lightbulbs and television screens in homes everywhere.
WalesOnline reports Professor Adam Hart, from the University of Gloucestershire's School of Natural and Social Sciences, carried out research into how the seasons affect spiders' behaviour patterns alongside other professionals in the area.
The research found that a lot more of them are seen around this time of year because it's mating season.
