Bridlington and Scarborough Hospital staff launch their 48-hour strike

Staff at Bridlington and Scarborough hospitals have begun a strike over planned changes to their employment contract.
Porters, cleaners and estates team started their 48 hour walk out at 6am today.
Last week NHS Improvement, the body that oversees the trusts, said it would be consulting and issuing new guidance.
Trade union Unite says York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust wants to transfer the workers to a wholly owned subsidiary designed to avoid paying tax.
