Brave moment boy, 13, saves teenager from drowning

A dad has spoken of the brave moment a teenage boy rescued his son from drowning after he fell into the water.
Edward Crothers, 13, was fishing with his friend Keane Gossop, 13, when he tripped and fell face down into the water. His foot became trapped beneath the rocks in the pond Kilpin, near Howden, and he found himself struggling to breathe.
Realising he was in difficulty, Keane pulled his shoes off and jumped straight in to save Edward from drowning by freeing his foot and helping him out of the water.
