Bransholme mum at centre of armed police stand-off speaks out

A mum-of-five at the centre of an armed police "stand-off" in Bransholme has spoken out to dispel rumours she is keeping a gun in her home.
Police searched Katie Bentley’s house in Dulverton Close off John Newton Way on Friday afternoon with at least four police cars descending on the “quiet” cul-de-sac.
Officers armed with guns stood guard outside her property and searched her home before leaving - much to the 30-year-old’s enjoyment.
