The boss of Prudential’s fund management arm was paid more than £3m last year, making her one of the FTSE 100’s best-paid female executives.
Anne Richards, the chief executive of M&G Investments, took over from predecessor Michael McLintock in 2016.
Other executives who benefited from the Pru pay bonanza include the group’s chief executive, Mike Wells. He pocketed £23.6m over two years – including nearly £2m for mortgage interest payments and other costs for his home in London.
