Bonmarche fashion chain warns on profits
 

Womenswear chain Bonmarche has warned that sales and profits will fall short of expectations this year due to weak consumer demand and the warm weather.
It said that online sales had grown strongly in the second quarter of the year, but sales in stores had not kept up the pace of the first quarter.
Full-year profits are now expected to be £5.5m, down from £8m last year.
Wakefield-based chain has more than 300 stores and a large membership of 1.7 million for its loyalty scheme.
