Blow for Scots fishing industry as talks on 'official' UK position on Brexit to be thrashed out after May 'loses control'

Theresa May’s Cabinet meet today to thrash out an official UK position on Brexit after talks yesterday broke up with no agreement.
The PM tried to rally Ministers around calls for a “bespoke and ambitious” trade deal with Europe.
But an aide to lead EU negotiator Michael Barnier said the UK will have to accept all existing and new EU rules during a two-year transition period.
The comment is a blow to Scottish fishermen’s leaders, who want ministers to take control of access to UK sovereign waters just nine months after Brexit.
