Birmingham City star Jota has been inspired by the confidence invested in him by Garry Monk and his coaches - and insists, after missing his last one, is ready to step up to take Blues’ next penalty.
The Spaniard has been in good form so far this season, far better than this time a year ago when having joined as the club’s record signing he was a victim of the profound change on the pitch and off it.
Jota was one of 13 new faces at St Andrew’s last summer, picked up a hamstring injury and had three managers.
