Bid for gender-neutral passports to be discussed in Court of Appeal



Today, judges in the Court of Appeal will consider a bid for gender-neutral passports. 
Christie Elan-Cane is challenging the Government over gender-neutral passports and believes the UK's passport application process, which requires individuals to indicate whether they are male or female, is "inherently discriminatory".
In 2018, the High Court refused an appeal for gender-neutral passports, now campaigners hope the Court of Appeal will consider the bid later today (Tuesday, December 3).
